Chladič CPU Mugen 5 Rev. C se dočkal aktualizace designu s novou edicí Black Edition. Tmavá povrchová úprava konzistentně prochází celým produktem. Chladič včetně měděných tepelných trubek byl pečlivě e-potažen matnou černou barvou. Kompletní montážní systém a spony ventilátoru také hladce zapadají do tohoto nového stylu. Hliníkovou horní desku zdobilo nápadné logo Scythe vyřezávané diamantem. Asymetrický design a výřezy na zadních chladicích žebrech nabízejí vynikající přístup k paměťovým bankám a umožňují použití modulů RAM s vysokými chladiči. I na zadní straně patice CPU lze použít paměťový modul až 55 mm. S celkovou výškou pouhých 154,5 mm se chladič vejde téměř do všech standardních skříní. Mugen 5 Black Edition Rev. C je vybaven ventilátorem z nové řady Kaze Flex II 120 PWM. Důležité vlastnosti řady ventilátorů, jako jsou tlumiče vibrací v rozích rámu a jedinečné uzavřené kapalinové ložisko (Sealed Precision FDB), jsou kombinovány s rozšířeným rozsahem otáček 300 až 1 500 ot./min, aby bylo dosaženo vyššího chladicího výkonu.

The Mugen 5 Rev. C CPU Cooler has received a design update with the new Black Edition. A dark finish runs consistently through the entire product. The heat sink, including the copper heat pipes, were carefully e-coated in a matt black. Both the complete mounting system and the fan clips also fit seamlessly into this new style. The aluminum top plate was decorated with a striking diamond-cut Scythe logo. An asymmetrical design and cut-outs on the rear cooling fins offer excellent access to memory banks and allow the use of RAM modules with high heat sinks. Even on the back of the CPU socket memory modul up to 55 mm can be used. With a total height of only 154.5 mm, the cooler fits in almost all standard cases. The Mugen 5 Black Edition Rev. C is equippded with a fan from the new Kaze Flex II 120 PWM series. Important features of the fan series, such as the vibration absorbers in the corners of the frame and the unique, closed liquid bearing (Sealed Precision FDB), are combined with an extended speed range of 300 to 1,500 rpm to achieve a higher cooling performance.

Aesthetics and style

The aluminum heat sink and copper heat pipes have been carefully coated black for a consistent and stylish appearance. In addition, the top plate has been decorated with an eye-catching diamond-cut Scythe logo.

Kaze Flex II 120 PWM Fan

The Mugen 5 Black Edition Rev. C is equipped with a new Kaze Flex II PWM fan featuring an increased control range of 300 to 1500 RPM. The self-contained liquid bearing (Sealed Precision FDB) reduces friction and wear to a minimum with the help of a special oil film and ensures a high level of stability and an average lifespan of 120,000 hours. Rubberized pads have a decoupling effect and prevent the transmission of any vibrations.

Excellent RAM compatibility

The asymmetrical heat sink design offers excellent access to memory banks and enables the use of RAM modules with high heat sinks. The cut-out fins on the back allow full compatibility with LGA2011 / LGA 2066 motherboards

Hyper Precision Mounting System IV

The Mugen 5 Rev. C CPU Cooler uses the updated H.P.M.S IV mounting system which now offers full LGA 1700 compatibility. A pre-assembled mounting bar with spring-loaded screws ensures balanced pressure distribution. During the installation process, the universal backplate is securely fixed to the mainboard by rubberized spacers, making the process considerably easier.
